Bless you Cyd. I was hoping you'd do this cheers You can find current promos on the News part of the CT forum or p. 5 of the Thunderboomers thread in the Coffee and Couch Chat of the CT forum. Keith got a haircut, Damian's face thinner and voice deeper, Ryan's hair longer and spiked. They all look and sound fantastic cheers

Sorry but I am not used to resizing on this computer. This is me in Milwaukee. OMG! The show was amazing to say the least. There was a lady there who didn't want her meet and greet tickets and gave them to my roomie and me. Imagine someone NOT wanting Meet and Greet tickets confused I didn't care who I met. Well it was George and Damian. Sooooonice. George is a big flirt. Their eyes lit up when I told them I was from the forum. George hugged me hard. That man can hug! He is sooooo nice.
Then, after the show we walked around the block. I saw the truck. Lo and behold there was Ryan coming toward us with a huge grin on his face. I babbled like an idiot and wouldn't let him go. Embarassed He was just sooonice and sweet.
In Chicago there were about 65 Thunderheads with glowsticks at the concert. We were very loud. We brought the crowd to its feet for Ireland's Call. We stood up and the crowd followed suit. The guys grinned from ear to ear. Keith flubbed The Island and I wanted to cry. Paul sucked on Nights in White Satin. He just didn't belt it out like he did on the DVD Crying or Very sad Keith just grinned like mad during Lauren and I. Caledonia came all too soon. The guys just grinned and grinned. We gave it our all.
We are waiting for news of a spring tour. We DO realize the guys need time to relax and be with their families before they can even think of work. Paul's girlfriend was with him in Chicago. I didn't see her or him. We DID see Ryan , George, and Damian. Others had encounters with Ryan and Paul. Hey, I got a huge smile out of George when I passed him on the way to my room. We got a huge smile from Ryan when he walked by. We did go to the stage door but the guys couldn't stop and talk. Ryan grinned from ear to ear when I called out his name and George smiled. The guys are just wonderful Very Happy

CT's new DVD STORM was released a few days ago:

here are some lyrics Smile
A New Day Dawning Lyrics

Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
Over our mountains and valleys of green
Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
And shining Your light from above

Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
Over our mountains and valleys of green
Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
And shining Your light from above
All over this land that we love

This is our land; this is where we belong
Here between mountain and sea
Here is our future and here is our past
And here, we are destined to be

This is our land; this is where we belong
These are our fields and our farms
God gave us protection and gave us the right
And gave us the strength in our arms

Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
Over our mountains and valleys of green
Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
And shining Your light from above
All over this land that we love

This is our land; this is where we will stay
And fight for the right to be here
This is the land where our fathers have spilled
Their blood and their sweat and their tears

This is our land; this is where we belong
And where we intend to remain
We'll drive the invader back over the sea
Again and again and again and again and again and again

Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
Over our mountains and valleys of green
Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
And shining Your light from above
All over this land that we love

Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
Over our mountains and valleys of green
Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
And shining Your light from above

Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
Over our mountains and valleys of green
Thank you, Lord, for a new day dawning
And shining Your light from above
All over this land that we love
All over this land that we love

MIDNIGHT WELL Ryan Kelly

In the town, the people stay away
From the midnight well.
For it’s dark and evil, so they say,
The midnight well.

They’ll tell you a tale of a lovely young maid,
The fairest that they’d ever known.
What a beauty they say,
But she went her own way
On that night, she set out on her own.

For they say she had a rendezvous
At the midnight well,
With a gypsy man she barely knew
At the midnight well.

Nobody knew where he came from,
But they remember the fire in his eye,
His earring of gold and his hair of coal,
And a look that could just hypnotize,
When he said,

CHORUS:
Come away, come away with me,
Come here and lay with me.
Come away out of the light.
Come away, come away with me,
Come and ride with me
Into the night.

Never more, they never saw her face,
At the midnight well.
She was gone, and never left a trace
At the midnight well.
They say when the summer nights come to an end,
And the harvest moon glows in the sky,
A black horse will appear and a sound you will hear
As the ghost of a gypsy rides by,
And he says

CHORUS X THREE

Celtic Thunder: My Journey
At about 9 am on Saturday September 24th, my mom woke me up; I politely told her it was too early for me to go from now, and went back to sleep. After taking a power nap, I woke up at about 10:30 am, and started to get ready for my Celtic Thunder concert. Grabbing sharpies and a DVD insert for siggies, my cell phone and my ticket (can’t go without that), I was now ready for my Celtic Thunder concert! Little did I know how great it would be!

I arrived at the Beacon Theater (where so many of us saw Il Divo at a Christmas concert in 2009) at about 1 p.m. Needless to say, I had to wait for them to open the doors at around 1:30 p.m. When I was finally inside, I headed for the souvenir stand. I bought the program!
Now knowing where Joyce was, I was headed over to my seat; I know she head to get to there in order to see the show!

Once inside and in our seats (Row C, Orchestra) it started to become really real, I was about to hear and see the new Celtic Thunder line up!

This time senior members Ryan, George, Keith and Neil shared the stage with Emmet Cahill (Paul Byrom’s replacement) and 13 yr old Daniel Furlong (Damian McGinty’s replacement btw he makes his first appearance on Glee next Tuesday)

Now heres a rather fun tidbit!

They just released Storm, but the shirts and posters and programs say Heritage, but the first half of the show is Voyage!

Weird much!

Highlights includes:
Daniel sang a beautiful cover of To Where You Are.

Ryan sang Black is the Color, and the audience erupted in cheers and claps; most likely because just a month or so ago we thought we wouldn’t be part of C.T! Which I was sad about as he’s my favorite!

In Galway Girl, all six vocalists took to the stage with instruments; Ryan played the tin whistle, George and Keith played guitars (think Keith’s was electric though), Emmet played the fiddle, Daniel played a box (no seriously he sat down on a wooden box and tapped on it like a drum) and Neil played a fiddle like instrument (no sure what it was, banjo maybe).

Emmet’s Kindred Spirits was just beautiful; love his voice!

Dulaman was sung entirely Gaelic. I have absolutely no idea what they were singing but I loved it.
Their voices blended so perfectly together! Just goes to show (just like Il Divo) that you don’t need to understand what is being sung, because the music calls to you!

For the second half of the show; Moondance and Home from the Sea were listed in the program but they were not sung. Instead of Moondance, Ryan sung Desperado!

Keith and Neil had a guitar duel for the song Whiskey in the Jar and brought the crowds to their feet!

Daniel’s You’ve Got a Friend in Me was a true gem! He sang it as the annoying little brother to
Keith’s big brother. Everything Keith wanted to do, Daniel mimicked.

Ryan was amazing when he sang Friends in Low Place. Dressed in all black and a short sleeve tee shirt, he had the ladies in the front row all smiling!

George ‘rocked’ the house with 500 Miles (I’m Gonna Be) and I sang along to it!

Emmet’s This is the Moment was just beautiful and this is the first time I heard it in English as I have the Carlos version on CD.

Girls, Girls, Girls was such a great number performed by George, Keith, Neil and Emmet

Of course when they sang Place in the Choir, I just had to sing along (think Emmet and Neil noticed me singing along )

The closing song was Irelands Call. This is one of my favorites and such a beautiful song, words, music, voices; everything was just perfect!

So when we left our seats; Joyce suggests we see how much tickets are for the 8 pm show. They had tickets left for a lower price, so Joyce got two more tickets! (I know crazy thunder fans )

But it worked out for the best….

After we had some burgers and fries at the Viand Café, Joyce had to find a Bank of America. So while walking around the area looking for a BoA, what do we see; other thunder fans; standing by a group a buses. That’s right, the Celtic Thunder tour buses! They kindly told us to wait there later and we
could possibly meet them!

So after we saw the 8 pm show, we headed for the tour buses!

First we met Declan; the drummer! He gave me his autograph and personalized it. He told me I have a beautiful name!

Then we saw George and Keith; George came back out to sign autographs but Keith stayed on the bus.

Next I spotted Ryan, and walked right over to him! There was no way I was letting this moment slip by me! I missed meeting back in October 2010 and then I thought my chances of meeting him were over when he said he was leaving C.T! So this time, I was meeting him!

I got his autograph and a picture with him!

We waited to see if the other Thunder Men were heading our direction but nope so we headed to the train but then I see Neil as we crossed the street! I gently grabbed his arm and asked him to sign my program!

3 CT men and the drummer! What a great night!

All thanks to Joyce!

Despite Paul and Damian no longer in CT as ‘full’ members, the show was great! The music was amazing, the voices were magical, the suits fitted the guys perfectly, and the guys goofed around as if they knew Emmet and Daniel for years! CT is just a great group!

CT lovers will enjoy this tour!
Get your tickets now!
