Hi all,

As promiced Sebastein, Carlos, David and Urs dropped in to see us at II Divo HQ and we sprung an inpromtu Q&A featuring some of the questions you supplied on Facebook. We chose 20 questions from the hundreds recieved and we'll be rolling out the guys responces over the coming weeks.

Thanks again to all of you that took the time to submit a question and we hope you enjoy the replies.

Linda K May asks: First of all thank you for you music. What do you all do to unwind and relax. And do you have pets?

Carlos:"No I have no pets at this moment. What I do to relax is to produce other shows. That is the thing that I love besides signing"

Silvia Simoes: Hey guys, after this long break to rest, far form the stage and the daily relationship among all of you, and after so many personal experiences, what have changed in your relationship as a group, in the objectives and vision you have of the Il Divo? Kisses from Brazil

David: "Every time we come together after an extended absence, we always feel like siblings, or cousins who have not seen each other for a long time. It is fun to share our stories and catch up, but we also love the fact that we are all, still so dedicated to the music"

Corrie Spildoorn You’re composing music. Any chance you’ll pout out a CD in the near future?

Seb: "Hi Corrie. I would really like to at some point. For now I’m trying to compose songs for others and I love it but I didn’t have a big chance as yet. But I will release those songs at some point absolutely. I try to compose pop songs. I like being diverse in what I do and it gives me such big wings as composing is part of me"

Elaine Fritts. At the Classic Brits you said you were always trying to top yourselves musically. But how do you improve on perfection?

Urs: "That’s very sweet of you. As a singer, your voice is part of your body and therefore, subject of your mood and your daily shape, so perfection doesn’t really exist on that level. So you always, like an athlete, try to be in top shape and that needs constant work"

EDITED July 20, 2011
Carol Anne Payne asks: In which kind of the venue do you prefer to sing (stadium, arena, studio etc) and do you have to adapt your voice depending on where you are singing?

URS "I don’t like the studio. There’s no atmosphere and you have to source it all from within yourself. I like singing to an audience, whether big or small. And of course, you have to adapt your way of singing and performing to the venue and the crowd."

Ivy Allen: Any plans for another US tour?

SEB: "Hi Ivy. Oh yes, we are back in spring 2012 and I miss US so much. This time I’m getting a bus so I can see more of US and take the family with me." (laughing)

Jennifer Lewis Hello Divos, thanks for taking the time out for your fans doing this.. Is there a country/ place that you haven’t performed in that you want to see, if so which one?

DAVID: "There are so many places that we still have not seen.. Most of Asia, many places throughout Central and South America. Eastern Europe still remains undiscovered to us. The place that I particularly would like to visit is China. I would like to do an outdoor concert somewhere along the Great Wall."

Marsha Stough: All I want to know is when to expect a new CD...?

CARLOS: "The new CD is coming out this November."

Seb, Urs, David and Carlos answer more of your questions. Enjoy Part 3 from our Facebook Q&A. Thanks again to all of you that took the time to submit a question and we hope you enjoy the replies.

Christine Jackson asks: "If you could perform with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?"

URS: "It would be Carlos, Sebastian and David"

Jane Gabs Nickolson: Are there any artists that are popular now that you would like them to perform your songs and music?

SEB: "Hello Jane. Yes, I would love Coldplay or James Blake or the band Hurts to sing one of our originals. It would be amazing – Bjork, George Michael, there are so many artists.. Jessie J, Bruno Mars, I can go on and on.."

Veronica Villaverd: What movie you like to watch many times and never get bored?

DAVID:“Fight Club”. Yes, it is a little violent but then again, change is always violent (though when change is subtle we don’t visually notice). It is a movie, at its heart underneath the violence, about returning to more primal humanity – about being stripped of artificial layers of society and regaining one’s personal power."

Miuroslava Blazkova: What is your dream vacation?

CARLOS: "On a beautiful beach."

As promised here is part 4 of our Facebook Q&A with the guys.

Jaana Salonen asks: What is the most important thing in your life? Music, family or something else?

URS: "I love my life, I enjoy it every day and everything, every moment is important... "

Maria Espana Morales: Where do you see yourselves in 5-10 years? DO you see yourselves together or branching out> Love you from the first moment I saw you on Oprah..

SEB: "In 5 -10 years I will have so much gray hair I will look terrible, but I hope I can still enjoy touring and singing with Il Divo. It would be fantastic to sing for the next Royal Wedding in the UK ???"

Antoinette Van Kleef: As I often get homesick when I’m away for a long time, I wonder what you guys miss most when you are on tour?

DAVID: "I don’t get “homesick” anymore. I obviously miss my wife Sarah a lot and my dog Cosmo if I haven’t seen then for an extended period. But I realized that feeling homesick was an indication that I was not living in the present moment, or enjoying what was right in from of me. Once I chose to stay in present and realize that my experiences were extraordinary, the homesickness vanished!"

Gabriella Roslund: What is your favourite football team?

CARLOS: " I’m not really a big football fan, but I would go for Real Madrid"

Here is the final instalment of our Q&A with the guys. Thanks for all your comments and stay tuned for more exciting il Divo news!

Jose Miguel Prada Angel: What other artists inspire you? Greeting from Columbia.

Seb: "Hola, Jose, Encancado! I love artists in general. There are so many!! At the moment, I love Coldplay, Jessie J, Hurts, Damien Rice, The Killers, George Michael..."

Toblerone Light: You make albums, and you take a break, do you think after 20-30 years, look back and compare your achievement with other bands, will you have a feeling that success doesn’t count on how many albums you make but how many people really love them?

DAVID : "Success is a different feeling to quantify as it means different things to different people. I define success as the fulfilment of inspiration. When one is inspired to do anything, whether it is creativity, an online industry like facebook (for example), or even driving one’s kids to school, the completion of an inspiration is a success. As for Il Divo, we had been brought together to create a new sound/style of music which we did. So even without the sales figures, we accomplished what we were inspired to create. I wouldn’t say that the number of albums or number of people who love our music constitutes the success itself, but rather confirms it. The fact that so many people enjoy what we do is truly the icing in the cake."

Val Green:What 3 things (besides your family) you would take on the deserted island?

CARLOS: "My toothbrush, my iPod and a good female company"

Jaana Salonen asks: What is the most important thing in your life? Music, family or something else?

URS: "I love my life, I enjoy it every day and everything, every moment is important... "
