The guys have won the Best Classical Crossover Artist category which was open to any performers (Australian or international) for a crossover project during 2008.
This article (from the December issue of Limelight magazine) goes on to say - "Il Divo - One of the original popera ensembles, these four lads have consistently been top of the charts both here in Australia and internationally. The multi-national group's name translates as "divine male performer" and thousands of their fans would agree. 2008 was a big year yet again, with a new official biography. a new album and an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show."
The guys won over Andre Rieu, Katherine Jenkins, Andrea Bocelli and Paul Potts.

Looks like all that voting we did a few months ago got results!
